Part of the Food & Beverage Division, this well invested site, which employs 130 people, supports a high profile customer base across snack food, frozen food, dairy and personal care.

As Departmental Production Manager, responsible for a value stream utilising flexo print, lamination and slitting processes, your challenge will be to lead and motivate a team of 18 to deliver maximum efficiency and optimum production levels, whilst building on the company’s culture of continuous improvement, empowerment and employee participation. Encompassing all aspects of manufacturing, your success will be measured on the impact you have on safety, quality and operational efficiency. By identifying, and acting on, opportunities for improvement and cost reduction, you will assist the business in creating value, both internally, and for the customer base.

You will have an impressive track record in production, departmental or shift management, encompassing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques, gained in a progressive, high volume manufacturing environment. Experience of print processes, ideally flexo- print, would be a distinct advantage. This will be combined with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead, motive and inspire your team, and colleagues, at every level.
