Salary £28,003.32 - £32,083.62 per annum

Our client is currently the largest national provider of Offender Learning in the UK; their highly qualified employees are fully trained in security arrangements in order for them to deliver a responsive curriculum within prisons across England 52 weeks a year.

With this in mind, they are currently recruiting for a Curriculum Team Leader in PSD at HMP Manchester.

The purpose of this role is to teach and supervise a curriculum delivery team, ensuring that all budget, quality and operational targets are achieved. You will plan, lead and develop the curriculum area within the establishment to ensure compliance with the national curriculum framework, the integration of functional skills, best practice and quality targets.

Candidates must hold a teaching qualification (minimum Cert Ed/PGCE) or equivalent AND a subject specialist qualification at degree level or equivalent. You will also have knowledge of curriculum development and a track record of effective teaching or training experience in the subject specialism.

Candidates must have efficient administration experience in relation to accreditation and course requirements, be able to effectively lead a team and have experience of working with learners who present challenging behaviour.

To succeed in this role candidates need to have a pragmatic approach to their work and the flexibility to adapt to meet learner requirements when necessary.
