Our client is an international worldwide company leading in transport and logistics market, offering an exciting opportunity within their export team
Main Purposes of role:
Responsible for logistics, planning and administration activities in order to support customers.
The Role:
- To co-ordinate and control the worldwide delivery process
- To cost effectively plan logistical routes for delivery to the clients
- To liaise and negotiate effectively with customers and suppliers
- To maintain adequate stock levels through accurate data analysis
- To control and maintain customer details and information
- To coordinate with different departments.
- To deal with general administration
The Candidate:
- Fluent in English and French (written & spoken)
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, importing into the EU - Essential
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Well organised with a structured approach to work
The Salary:
£18,000 - £22,000 pa
