Are you a Teaching Assistant experienced working with SEN learners or interested in working in a Special educational needs environment?
If so, TimePlan Surrey has a wonderful opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to start in September, working in a lovely Richmond school. This opportunity is to work in the SEN Unit attached to this wonderful Primary School to support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Teaching Assistants looking for a full time position for the autumn term, this could be the perfect TA job for you in Richmond! This Learning Support Assistant position is available full time from January 2015.
There are about 8 pupils in the SEN Unit that is attached to lovely mainstream Primary School. The job can be quite demanding as the pupils have a range of SEN and need constant 1:1 support. The needs of the pupils range from ADHD and Autism to Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties and they are all of Primary age.
This fantastic Primary School located in Richmond, Surrey, seeks an experienced TA from September 2014 to work in their SEN Unit. The ideal candidate would be committed to achieving high standards and able to engage and support students during small group activities and on a 1:1 basis. The perfect candidate must have experience working with children with special educational needs previously and understand a range of SEN. They must be empathetic and compassionate towards the pupils in this environment.
The school is situated on beautiful spacious grounds, has large classrooms and ample resources. This would certainly be a wonderful School to work at. This School is very easily accessible via all main public transport links in Surrey such as Kingston, Richmond, Clapham Junction, London Waterloo and Wimbledon.
