In Northampton, the St Andrew??s Academic Centre, a partnership with the Institute of Psychiatry, King??s College London, is dedicated to world-class research and teaching and we work closely with many leading universities in training mental health professionals for the nation.
We are currently seeking applications from psychology graduates with relevant work experience for a number of our clinical services. These posts would be appropriate for psychology graduates working towards a career within clinical orforensic psychology. Previous relevant Clinical experience would be an advantage.
Psychology is highly valued within the services, and embedded within a psychosocial recovery orientated approach. You will be required to maintain the highest standards of clinical record-keeping and report writing in accordance with professional codes of practice and St Andrew??s Healthcare policies and procedures.
You will also be responsible for initial collation of all clinically relevant individual service user information by ensuring all maintenance of up to date clinical summaries for us by Responsible Clinicians within documentation and reports to be submitted to Courts, CPAs, MHRT, Managers hearings etc.
You will also be involved in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, and development of
audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work. The successful candidates will have a desire to expand their
assessment and therapeutic skills.
