We are looking to recruit a teacher to deliver a range of subjects at a pupil referral unit (PRU) in the Wolverhampton area of Birmingham. A subject specialism will be viewed highly, however in depth knowledge across the board is essential. You will be paid up to £140 per day and will receive career development and training from our specialist SEN team.

The Job
- W will accept applications from teachers with QTS status or experienced instructors
- You will be teaching both KS3 and KS4 and will be working towards GCSE or entry level qualifications.
- You will be responsible for the planning, marking and assessment of work
- There may be opportunity for career development for the suitable candidate, as well as the potential to mentor and support other teaching assistants

The School
- The young people you will be working with will display challenging behaviour and will often have had breaks in education causing them to work below expected levels
- We would be looking for applicants to have experience of working with disengaged young people either within a similar setting, or have worked with challenging behaviour within mainstream schools or colleges

The Child
- The ultimate aim of the provision is reintegrate the young people back into mainstream education or offer them access to a structured education timetable and chance to obtain qualifications in core areas.
- If you are asked for interview you must be able to give examples of raising targets or standards within schools
