Our client, a successful business specialising in the supply of made to measure blind kits and soft furnishings are now seeking a Blind and Curtain Track Assembly Operative to work in their warehouse in Nottingham.

The successful Blind and Curtain Track Assembly Operative will work on the production line making all types of blinds, curtain tracks and other items where necessary.

Day to day tasks will include the following:

Using hand and power tools,

Using industrial machines,

Cutting a variety of materials,

Packing and general production work.

Our client is looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and interested in production work. To be successful as a Blind and Curtain Track Assembly Operative you will enjoy hands on work and will have a good sense of humour and friendly personality.

Previous experience within the within the Blind Assembly industry would be a distinct advantage although applicants with experience as a fitter or in a role where attention to detail is key will also be considered.

The right individual will also need to be a good team player and have the willingness to learn on the job. You should have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work and also be reliable and a good time keeper as this is essential to the smooth running of the production line.
