Position: Engineering Systems Manager

Location: Salfords, Surrey

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000

The Role:

An experienced systems engineer/engineering manager is required to manage the Oslo deliverables from both a technical and project management perspective. The role therefore requires both sound system engineering knowledge and project management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

For the Oslo project responsibilities include:

Managing development and integration of RTT sub-systems (software and hardware).

Supporting Programme Management in managing the wider program.

Attending customer meetings.

Managing suppliers where necessary.

Liaising with RTT Ops and the general Engineering team.

Updating schedule information, monitoring and reporting on milestone and deliverables.

Some overseas travel will be required.

Experience and Attributes:

Knowledge and experience of system engineering processes within a large company environment.

Project management experience in a customer order fulfilment capacity.

Experience with large industrial machinery preferred.

Knowledge of airport or baggage handling systems a bonus.

Knowledge, Training and Qualifications:

Experience with MS Project or similar project management tool.

Knowledge and experience of requirements management, system testing and other systems engineering processes.

Knowledge of engineering CAD systems such as AutoCad desired.

Knowledge of BIM would be a bonus
