They are now looking for an Office Manager to join them at their site in Newton Abbot where you will lead the Administration Team in the achievement of functional objectives which supports the site business plan. Ensuring the company’s visions and values are upheld, company policies and procedures are maintained and that the company operates within legal requirements, you will also ensure that the health & safety policy is complied with and their customers continue to receive an unsurpassed level of service.
The role involves managing the Admin Department to make sure all agreed financial and administration responsibilities are up to date and meet with Customer and Head Office time frames. Training, motivating, monitoring and coaching the Admin team to ensure Operational Excellence is achieved and Service Excellence is maintained, you will empower staff to take personal responsibility for ensuring that all necessary actions are taken in response to requests and that this is done within agreed timescales.
Supporting the General Manager and interacting with all Departments to ensure deadlines are met, you will interact with Head Office and suppliers, generate reports as required and make recommendations on trends and improvements whilst analysing lost business and complaint data. Making sure that cost budgets are adhered to and KPI’s are achieved, you will ensure all customer orders are on the Dynamics system, manage the sites payroll function and provide support with HR functions.
They are looking for someone who has experience of working within a highly focused operational environment. With the ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff, and with good leadership and people management skills, you will be highly customer focussed and have a high attention to detail. Having experience in recruitment, coaching, absence management and disciplinary/grievances is key, as is the flexibility to react quickly to the needs of the customer, and provide a high level of communication – both written and verbal. Above all you will be self-motivated, be able to deliver quality results under pressure and have excellent organisational and planning skills.
