Accounts & Business Process Support - Maternity Cover

We are pleased to be able to offer an experienced person the chance to join an expanding, specialist company and develop their career. This opportunity is to provide maternity cover with the potential for a role beyond that period if deemed suitable by both parties.

The role:

A accounts/business process support person working in their Head Office in Staplehurst providing cover for an experienced operative during their maternity leave.

As a small but growing company the role involves a number of different facets all based around the internal business processes of the company such as accounts, invoicing, purchase/debtors ledger, etc. as well as day to day interaction with other members of staff to keep their works database software up to date.

It is intended that the successful applicant will join the company as soon as possible prior to the maternity leave starting at the end of October and continue in the role for the duration of the maternity leave which is anticipated to last for 9 months.

As you will be joining a high growth company this role may lead to other opportunities for employment with them beyond that of maternity cover.

Location:

Based at their Head Office in Staplehurst, Kent.

Requirements:

- Must be an experienced operator within a busy office environment with good computer skills and accountancy experience.
- Well practiced with the use of Sage or Quickbooks or both.
- Be able to take an active part in continuing the development of their business process.
- Have experience in communicating with both public and private commercial clients at all levels.

Hours:

Minimum 4 days per week (Mon-Fri) with some flexibility on times between 8.00 - 17.00

Remuneration:

£10-£12 per hour dependent on experience/qualifications.
