Technical Engineer - London - up to GBP60,000 + Full Benefits

Technical Engineer is now required at a leading government organisation based in Central London. The successful Technical Engineer will be responsible for the on-going maintenance and development of the internal infrastructure and networks. The Engineer will also be involved in new customer builds and exciting upcoming projects.

As a successful Technical Engineer you will:
- Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot the company Servers and Networks.
- Occasionally mentor to 1st, 2nd and 3rd line engineers.
- Take responsibility for diagnosing and handling complex technical issues.
- Make sure that all work is carried out following company policies and procedures.
- Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

Skills and experience of a successful Technical Engineer are:
- Microsoft Hyper V
- Windows Server 2003, 2008 & 2012 (R2)
- Active Directory (AD) & Group Policy (GP)
- Powershell & Scripting
- Working knowledge of Cisco Routers and Switches
- Networking and TCP/IP

The following experience/certification is highly desirable:
- Experience with Enterprise level support (eg high number of end-users - 500+)
- Commercial experience of Windows Clustering
- Microsoft Certification

The successful Technical Engineer will be able to secure the following package:
- GBP40,000 - GBP60,000 per annum (dependant upon experience)
