Finance Director - Qualified Accountant

An experienced, commercially aware Finance Director / Financial Controller is sought to to join a senior management team.

This technological manufacturing organisation is based in Letchworth Garden City. The company employs approximately 40 staff engaged in the development and sale of specialist digital printing inks, offering their customers greater speed, flexibility and lower running costs.

The Finance Director / Financial Controller role requires a blend of hands-on practical accounting work with a strategic outlook and real commercial flair. You'll need to not be afraid to "get stuck in" to day-to-day management accounting, whilst being part of the leadership team alongside the Managing Director.

TITLE: Finance Director / Financial Controller
LOCATION: Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire
SALARY: £70k - £75k
BENEFITS: Excellent benefits package including private health cover, pension and life assurance. A car allowance may also be included

The Finance Director / Financial Controller must possess the following:
-An ACA / ACCA / ACMA qualification, with substantial post qualification experience (8-10 years)
-Strong experience of leading a finance operation, ideally within a manufacturing environment
-Experience of working at Board / Leadership level
-The ability to travel internationally, as required
-Excellent people skills
-The desire to develop a career and grow the business

As a joining Finance Director / Financial Controller, you will be at the forefront of the company's development, working very closely with the new Managing Director. The organisation houses some very talented technical employees, whilst remaining a friendly and fun place to work, refreshingly free from politics.
