We’re a small, high-growth business, which adds a personal touch to all that we do. Our focus is to grow the business organically, which is why we now have a need to recruit a recent graduate who is analytical and articulate to join our warm and friendly Projects team in Bristol.

About the Role

As our Graduate Report Writer / Technical Analyst you will work with our Product Manager, and other members of the business, to prioritise and build reports to both internal and client specification, working to strict deadlines. You will work with a variety of report types including Excel, Crystal and SQL, both converting old reports and building new ones.

You will also work as part of the Projects Team in a Technical Analyst capacity aiding in the building of databases, migration of data as well owning other technical tasks.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an outgoing, intellectually capable graduate to embark on a career in report writing and technical analysis. This role ensure you learn how to:

  • Develop reports to specification and deadline as defined by either the Projects Team or the Product Manger prioritizing where needed.
  • Liaise with the key stakeholders of each report, both internal and external, to ensure all parties are kept up to date and informed of progress.
  • Assisting in the answering of Report related support queries both by email and phone.
  • The conversion of the remaining Iken Standard reports into the Iken MI suite.
  • Develop and document best working practices in relation to reports writing, testing and delivery.
  • Tasks such as Database Building and Data Migration are completed to a high standard and to project deadlines.
  • All scripts related to installations and upgrades are edited and maintained to a high standard.
  • Take part in pre-sales and pre-implementation technical teleconferences with prospective clients regarding reports.

About You

This role is very fast-paced and requires somebody with an acute attention to detail coupled with an innate ability to work to strict deadlines and cope well under pressure.
