In-House Senior Proofreader and Copy-Editor

Senior Proofreader and Copy-Editor required for educational publisher ZigZag Education in their busy office in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, due to expansion. We have between 2 and 4 in-house proofreaders at any one time led by our Proofreading Manager. An eye for detail and an excellent knowledge of English spelling, grammar and punctuation are essential. The core part of this job entails proofreading documents on paper and applying corrections to electronic files. Where documents require more extensive changes you may be asked to read and copy-edit on-screen using track changes in MS Word.

This role includes responsibility supporting the Proofreading Manager with his coordination of internal and external proofreaders which involves proofreading work for ZigZag Education and external assignments for The Proofreading Agency.
