Team Leader

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

To follow Health & Safety company/client policy guidelines;
Monitor PPE compliance;
High level of communication with Client shift leaders to ensure that key instructions are understood and carried out;
Ensure day to day running of shift;
Monitor staff performance to seek improvement, this also includes close monitoring of cabin leaders to ensure that their level of performance is achieving against set and expected targets;
Communicate ideas and key points/issues during handovers;
Keep Shift Supervisor informed of any issues or concerns (relevant & timely);
Ensure full communication of any tool box talks or team briefs;
Induct & train new staff members, ensure understanding of expectations;
Ensure output material is to expected and agreed quality levels;
Ensure that all cabins are achieving set pick rate targets;
Ensure that all cabins are kept as clean and tidy as possible and that during plant downtime sort line operatives and cabin leaders are cleaning in their designated cabin;
Ensure that all bins are emptied when full;
Ensure lock off procedure are followed correctly during daily maintenance/cleaning of plant;
Ensure all near misses & accidents are reported correctly;
