Our client is now recruiting for a General /Operations Manager (Circa £30k per annum) within a 50 mile radius of Cambridge to join their team for a 50/50 office based and mobile role.

The successful General / Operations Manager will ensure that all operational aspects of the company are managed in an efficient and professional manner utilizing and motivating existing staff and taking the company forward in relation to turnover, profitability and efficiency.

The successful General /Operations Manager’s other key duties will include:-

- Maintaining Excellent Customer Communication /service
- Daily/weekly/monthly scheduling and signing off of all regular deep cleans/ad hoc cleans
- Arrange weekly meetings to motivate and nurture staff
- To manage and provide training and support to the Cleaning teams working on site.
- To ensure regular visits to clients are maintained to the expected frequency
- To ensure adequate stocks are maintained and staff are allocated sufficient for use on contracts
- Set up new contracts in terms of staff/equipment/training
- Introduce systems where necessary to increase productivity/reduce costs
- Manage Company vehicles
- Ensure work is staffed and commitment to 100% reliability is maintained

The Ideal General / Operations Manager should have the ability to work under pressure and have a ‘can do’ attitude. Other attributes would include:-

-Experience of People Management in a similar role
-Ability to work under pressure and have a can do attitude
-Knowledge of the cleaning industry or ability to adapt from another service industry
-Good Communication skills written and oral and ability to deal at all levels
-Excellent organisational skills and willingness to keep learning
-Excellent IT skills in particular ability to produce reports for Directors
-Team player yet able to work independently
-Willingness to progress as Company grows
