Experience of an end to end implementation life cycle has enabled you to develop your technical skills, project management and consulting skills.
Typical programmes will have included:
- General Ledger, consolidation and EPM projects
- Product accounting solution implementations
- Finance systems architecture and strategy delivery
- Data warehousing and data management
- Finance, Risk and Treasury integration
- Finance operating model design and implementation
- Regulatory, statutory and management reporting projects
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Delivery on a client assignment
- Developing long-term trusted advisor relationships
- Identifying opportunities for and securing new business
- Share knowledge and experience in the team to develop colleagues and the capability of the wider firm
Experience:
- A background in Finance, Risk/Regulation or Treasury
- Hands-on consulting experience at a Big 4, major systems integrator or top tier consulting firm within financial services
Technical Skills:
Whilst skills across any finance systems would be beneficial we are specifically looking for strong experience in one or more of the following:
- SAP BPC and BFC
- SAP Insurance Finance packages (eg SAP Insurance Analyser)
- Oracle eBusiness Suite
- Oracle Essbase
- Hyperion Planning
- BPM tools (eg Pega, IBM)
- Other EPM systems (eg HFM), treasury systems and ERP systems (eg Peoplesoft)
Consulting Skills:
- Relentless focus on quality
- A strong team mentality
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Take personal responsibility for delivery.
Qualifications
- A first level university degree, 2:1 (or equivalent) or above.
- An accounting qualification (ACA, ACMA, ACCA) applied in a financial institution would be beneficial
