My client secondary school is looking for a physics, chemistry or biology graduate to join them from September of this year. You will be taking on the role of teaching assistant within the science department- supporting learning in key stage three and four physics, chemistry and physics lessons.

Successful candidates will hold a degree in a scientific discipline and have ambitions of becoming science teachers in the future. You should be confident and engaging and have a genuine love seeing all pupils make excellent progress. You must have an aptitude for teaching and this should be demonstrated by your past experience. For example, the school will look to you to have worked with children and young people before. This may have been directly in the classroom, voluntarily work, youth work, mentoring...

Having strong subject knowledge of your scientific discipline is required. Your expertise and knowledge will be used to supported GCSE students in their practical and theoretical work. Being a good communicator and someone who secondary pupils can relate to is essential, as pupils must be shown to be benefitting from your support.

The school will be looking to see potential graduates as soon as possible. If you can work full time, for the remainder of the academic year- you may be suited to this position.

If you're a science graduate who can genuinely make a difference in this excellent position, respond to this ad with your CV. Alternatively, call .
