This is a very exciting opportunity to become the first member of a new department focusing on pension and investment advice, servicing an existing bank of HNW clients.

About the Financial Adviser opportunity:

The company is now expanding into pensions and investment advice and is looking for an outstanding adviser to be the cornerstone of this new team. Being the first member of a new team the company is looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that has the potential to build and manage the team in the future.

Although this is a new team and the firm does not currently provide investment advice, they are part of one of the largest financial adviser networks in the UK so you will have access to all the leading funds and platforms from day one.

The first stage of this expansion will focus mainly on pension advice. All leads are provided and predominantly represent existing high net worth clients of the company seeking assistance in this area. Generally you would be expected to work from the office most days conducting business over the telephone, but there is the flexibility to meet clients face-to-face if requested.

Essential skills and experience:

You must be Diploma qualified (QCF Level 4) and hold Competent Advisor Status (CAS). Candidates with Chartered Status would be preferred. As the initial focus will be on pension advice / transfers you must also have passed AF3 / G60. You would be expected to have at least two years experience working in an IFA / financial planning environment with extensive pension / retirement planning experience.

What’s the remuneration?

Your remuneration will be made up of a basic salary and bonuses. The basic salary would be £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience with on target earnings of over £90,000 in the first year (although this is uncapped so could be significantly higher). Your OTE would be expected to rise to over £100,000 in your second year as your client bank grows.
