Music Teacher

We are looking for an outstanding Music teacher to commence a temporary cover in an outstanding/good school in West Leeds. This is a full time position working Monday to Friday covering all lessons including KS3 and GCSE groups. The school are looking for a dynamic, committed teacher who will take on all responsibilities as a permanent member of staff including all planning, marking, parents evenings and any department meetings as and when is required.

The school is a larger than average secondary school. Most students come from the Roman Catholic communities of towns to the north west of Leeds. The school serves a socially mixed, but relatively advantaged, area and the proportion of students who are entitled to free school meals is low. The school has specialist status in sport and holds a number of recent good practice awards including Sportsmark Gold, the Healthy Schools award and Investors in People. Its most recent Ofsted was graded good with outstanding features.
