System Architect - digital platforms - The Netherlands

My client, a global leader in electronic consumer products, is looking to recruit a System Architect to play a pivotal role in defining the digital system architecture of its next generation of products.

The role will involve defining, deploy and maintain digital roadmaps, digital product platforms, system architecture and standards in co-ordination with many different technical groups/stakeholders. These include R&D, hardware, product design, electronics, software, IT & web (cloud services), mobile (app development), wireless systems (bluetooth), marketing services.

You will have a strong track record of conceptualising and delivering functional and scalable system architectures within the high volume consumer electronics industry. You will have strong modelling (UML or similar) and requirements management experience. Strong organisational skills are essential, as is excellent communication skills and experience of working in cross-functional and international teams.

From a technical perspective, a background in embedded systems, API, software engineering (embedded and application level), and any experience of IoT ('Internet of Things') would be ideal.
