Maintenance Site Engineering Team Leader
Warwickshire
to c£33,000 plus overtime, pension and benefits
Our client is one of the UK's market leaders in the area of automated warehousing and materials handling solutions, and they are looking to recruit a multi discipline Maintenance Team Leader to complement their established existing team. Working on a permanent "days" basis (although on every 5th weekend a Sunday is required to be worked with a day off taken during the week instead and at times of particularly extreme staff shortages, very occasional shifts may need to be covered) the role necessitates a good understanding of H&S for site engineering and facilities within a busy distribution hub.
As the company prides itself on the high quality service it provides to customers across the country, it is essential that they now recruit a similarly committed and highly professional maintenance team leader to ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards and the systems meet the required demands.
Tasked with providing hands on technical maintenance team leadership, core responsibilities for this multi discipline maintenance role will include:
*Assisting the Site and Facilities Management with H&S issues that may arise
*Conducting reactive and PPM maintenance on automated high bay warehousing cranes and conveyor systems
*Monitoring the operation and ensuring stoppages are dealt with promptly.
*Using the computerised system to monitor site activity.
*Advising customers of any stock related issues and planning and implementing the site service schedule whilst driving continuous improvement across the site
*Promoting any enhancements or additions required via correct channels.
*Provide cover alongside other team members for holidays and sickness.
As the first point of contact for the site team, this is an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated maintenance supervisor to join a team responsible for the ongoing efficiency of a number of fully automated cranes and conveyor systems that handle more than 30,000 pallets per month. To be considered for this exciting and varied position, you will demonstrate a relevant recognized qualification, a strong electrical background, experience of working at heights and also of working both autonomously and as part of a team. In return, a mapped career progression path and excellent remuneration package are available.
Are you looking for a fresh challenge within a world leading organisation? Then contact the Maintenance Team at Premier Technical Recruitment on 01827 68400 or email your cv to maintenance@p-t-r.co.uk for further information.
