A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Management Information and Resource Analysts to join our client, a well-known financial institution in Edinburgh and Aylesbury.

As a MI and Resource Analyst you will develop, maintain and manage management information as well as supply and demand forecasts for a business review and remediation function within a regulated financial services institution.

You will be comfortable Implementing and developing infrastructures required to provide market leading management information and reports.
Successful individual should have previous experience of working within a business review function, ideally in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and develop the infrastructure required to provide market leading management information and reporting
• Produce accurate M.I. for key operational metrics for a business review function within a large financial institution
• Utilise historical data and forecasts to develop accurate headcount models and staffing plans that provide capacity modelling, service level forecasts and supports resource allocation and recruitment strategy decisions
• Complete detailed forecast variance analysis where required
• Continually seek ways to improve supply and demand wastage through challenge and innovation and provide recommendations to the senior management team
• Produce insightful M.I. reports which display relevant data in an efficient and transparent manner
• Prepare and produce ad hoc M.I. as required

Key requirements:

• Previous experience of working within a business review function, ideally in a regulated environment
• A proven track record of implementing and developing M.I.
• Ability to analyse large amounts of data and identify trends as early as possible.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Can disseminate information to colleagues and senior management accurately in an timely manner
• Good understanding of resource planning methodologies and service level dynamics
• Advanced Excel and Power Point knowledge essential and good competency in other Microsoft Office programmes
• Self-motivated, organised, with ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines which may be demanding
