A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Business Review Technical Specialist/Manager to join a well-known financial institution based in Aylesbury. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operationalising policy and controlling policy / process change within a business review function of a well-known financial services institution.
Responsibilities:
• Focal point SME for all technical queries regarding case work
• Managing a central log for policy and ongoing changes to policy (designed in a way to assist case handlers)
• Design and implement an effective and efficient change control process which enables clear ownership and accountability.
• Understand gaps in policy / process identified throughout the Operation and QA process and ensure any changes are progressed through the change control process.
• Design robust procedures to ensure that processes and documents (including letters) are written, signed off, maintained and kept up to date.
• Ensure all the above can be evidenced for QA purposes.
• Engage positively and professionally with Quality Assurers to ensure best outcome for the end customer the client and RFS.
• To build strong stakeholder relationships within relevant areas within LBG - Policy Team, QA, and Change Teams
Required:
• Full FPC 1,2,3 with additional investments qualifications desirable
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Good coaching skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the FCA’s rules and regulation in relation to business review.
• Confident, clear and succinct oral and written communication, presentational and influencing skills
• Ability to identify new and creative solutions to business challenges
• Demonstrate excellent time keeping and flexibility with regards to working hours
• Be able to work under their own initiative, taking a proactive approach to working
• Full FPC 1,2,3 or equivalent
• Must be able to commit to no less than 6 months of the project.
