A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Business Review Trainers to join a well-known financial institution based in Edinburgh or Aylesbury. The ideal candidate will need to have proven work experience in co-ordinating and administering, policy induction and training to all new starters working within a business review and remediation function of a large financial services company.
Responsibilities:
• Work in co-operation with senior management to devise format for all training sessions
• Developing and delivering programmes of learning activities using a variety of mediums including, but not limited to, classroom, online and seminar style training with distinct learning outcomes
• Development of training/revision materials to complement taught sessions
• Assessment of all new starters throughout the training period to ensure successful comprehension of complaints handling policy and related procedures
• Complete related administration, including maintenance of accurate training records and M.I suitable for senior management
Required:
• Proven experience in delivering technical training in a business review environment within a regulated financial services institution
• A good knowledge of the FCA’s rules and regulation in relation to business review.
• Confident, clear and succinct oral and written communication, presentational and influencing skills
• Knowledge and experience of conducting training needs analysis
• Ability to identify new and creative solutions to business challenges
• Demonstrate excellent time keeping and flexibility with regards to working hours
• Be able to work under their own initiative, taking a proactive approach to working
• Full FPC 1,2,3 or equivalent
Investment experience:
1. Level 4 - Diploma in Financial Planning (a distinct advantage)
2. CF2 - Investment and risk (an advantage although not essential)
3. R02 - Investment principles and Risk (an advantage although not essential)
4. Investment technical knowledge
5. Relevant Investment Qualifications
6. Experience of remediation
7. Verification of protection products
8. Must be able to commit to no less than 6 months of the project.
