Job Elements: -

• Temp until Dec 2014; potential perm from Jan 2015
• First line technical support for all systems on site.
• Support for software queries to advanced level for Microsoft Office.
• Password resets for Network, Email etc.
• Adhoc email and Internet support.
• Provide support on the Citrix servers and applications.
• Ensure all issues raised within the business are logged to Service desk and resolved. Or escalated to the appropriate 2nd line support.
• Installation, upgrading and validation of all PC’s and laptops.
• Installation and configuration of Servers.
• Printer support to include the control and distribution of consumables.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in Information Technology
• Experience of 1st Line IT Support, in particular covering: -
o Microsoft Office experience to Advanced level in at least 2 applications, and supporting and maintaining Access databases
o Good understanding of PC architecture and active directories, along with a working knowledge in a networked environment
• A service orientated individual with excellent prioritising and organisational skills
• Excellent written skills
• Ability to work as part of a team with sound communication skills
• Can do attitude
• Focused to deliver a high standard of Customer support.
