The Role

This is an opportunity to join our eCommerce Pricing and Optimisation team, whose remit it is to develop the pricing strategy, pricing models, governance and commercial pricing initiatives. This team lead on client set-up and transaction-routing optimisation. The role focuses on the team's scheme fees analytics with ad-hoc support on pricing projects.

Key to your role will be:

  • Maintaining a detailed understanding of the scheme fees as they are incurred by Worldpay.
  • Ensuring that our model for internal allocation is kept updated with new fees, rates and that there is consistency with pricing model.
  • You will design management information relating to the scheme fee costs, trend analysis and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Building and maintenance of the scheme fee forecast model for WorldPay group and providing associated reporting and insights.
  • Ensuring that the in-team database of relevant scheme fees bulletins is kept up-to-date.
  • Working in conjunction with the financial controller to ensure accurate accounting.
  • Communication of scheme cost changes internally, including client level impact analysis.
  • Assisting with pricing, optimisation and other ad hoc scheme fees analyses for Worldpay Group.
  • Supporting the development of automated optimisation and reporting tools.
  • Continuously driving improvements in scheme fees model accuracy and overall operating process.
  • Liaison with the technology teams to provide input on scheme fees platform design and rate updates.

Skills & Experience

An ambitious, self-starter you will be educated to degree level in a numerate and analytical subject and have Advanced SQL and Excel skills, with experience of using these in the work environment. You will need excellent attention to detail and impeccable analytical skills combined with commercial acumen and first-rate communication skills - Speaking, presenting and writing - that will allow you to interact effectively with sales people and other internal stakeholders. You will be adept in communicating technical detail to non-technical audiences and possess the ability to create and communicate key messages out of large data/analytic sets.

It would also be advantageous, though not essential, to have skills with VBA and Powerpoint and previous experience in an accounting related work environment.
