Chef

Ludlow Street Healthcare is an innovative, rapidly expanding organisation that provides specialist care, education and treatment services for individuals with mental health needs, learning disabilities and other specialist care needs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Chef, based at Pinetree Court Hospital for a 3 month period. As a Chef, you will plan, prepare and cook for the clients and staff (when necessary), ensure personal awareness of Health and Safety guidelines in order to effectively ensure that tasks are undertaken in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring your own and others safety at all times and ensure the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.

You will also store, prepare and serve food and beverage items in Accordance with all Food Handling and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, clean and store equipment, crockery, cutlery and utensils in a safe and hygienic manner and manage the daily cleaning of all areas of the kitchen in accordance with the Units schedules and specifications, using appropriate equipment, chemicals and work methods.
