A fantastic opportunity has surfaced for a Web Developer (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) to work within a large multi-national organisation, specialising in the Financial Services industry. This great Web Developer (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) opportunity is open to a Web Developer (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) that can successfully demonstrate comprehensive experience in requirements gathering, effort estimation, building proof of concepts, coding, unit testing, release management and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

* Build, support and enhance existing systems to fulfil business objectives. Ensure development is delivered on time and on budget to agreed business requirements.
* Shape, estimate and deliver work assignments. Ensure estimates incorporate all development activities.
* Scope required changes, ensuring they do not have a negative impact on existing service or data quality.
* Provide technical input for projects throughout the development life cycle. Produce project design, functional and support documents as required.
* Liaise with Business Owners, management and stakeholders as required. This may be to resolve issues, gather requirements, provide progress updates or business reporting.
* Assist with the design and architecting solutions and recommend ways to improve the technical delivery and identify risks affecting the solution (and the means to mitigate them).

Experience required

* 5 years' of experience within Web Development.
* Educated to degree level preferably in IT relevant area or equivalent experience.
* Strong commercial experience using the following technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript & jQuery.
* Ideally a Financial Services background.
* Ideally a Digital background

The successful Web Developer (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) will become an Employed Consultant of Hyphen and will work onsite for our Client, a UK Insurance Group.
