Senior Accountant

Due to continued growth, my client is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to help maintain and build relationships with clients.

The key elements of the role are to provide leadership, management and development support to the team.

You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the team, and provide support for the Regional Manager with operational and strategic business needs.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communications skills, strong leadership skills and the desire to lead by example.

The key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Client Management
• Management of day to day staff issues and key point of contact for the team
• Supporting the development of colleagues
• Ensuring the client experience is met at all times and service guarantees are adhered
• Maintaining a client base
• Training & development the team
• Strategic planning
• Developing and implementing processes to enable streamlined and effective working practice

The ideal candidate for this fantastic opportunity will have the following:

• Presentable - able to meet face to face with clients
• First class customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills - email, telephone and face to face
• Be an enthusiastic team player and an outgoing individual
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Commercial acumen

One or more of the following formal qualifications/part qualifications: ACCA, MATT, ATT, ACA are desirable. Experience of managing a client portfolio is also important.
