Developer Services Assistant
Bradford
Salary £12,757 - £18,982 p.a.
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Experience of providing excellent customer service.
• Experience of prioritising workloads within agreed timescales.
• Knowledge and experience of new development waste processes.
THE ROLE
As an Assistant, you will be responsible for putting customers at the heart of everything we do. You will give customers a seamless and consistent customer experience whilst improving our performance and providing exceptional value for money. Your responsibilities will include:
• Handling applications and queries in relation to initial sewerage applications and general enquiries.
• Liaising with office and field based colleagues to ensure that an efficient and effective service is provided in line with Yorkshire Water company standards in a manner that exceeds our customer's expectations.
• Demonstrating day to day management of work baskets to minimise backlogs and effectively jeopardy manage work streams within set timescales.
• Providing adequate cover for incoming phone calls during office hours and providing advice and technical support to customers and developers.
• Producing accurate and relevant management information as and when required to the team leader.
• Providing advice and technical support to internal and external customers and developers whilst providing a first class customer experience.
• Making use of a number of corporate systems to process and resolve customer queries and applications.
ABOUT YOU
You must display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an empathetic attitude and the ability operate well in a pressurised environment. You will be experienced in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and be familiar with Lotus Notes and databases

At the same time we also collect, treat and dispose of approximately one billion litres of waste water safely back into the environment.
