PHP Developer, Macclesfield, 28,000 to 30,000
Were on the lookout for a back-end web developer (OO PHP5, Magento, MySQL) to join the team at an award winning agency based in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
The successful candidate will have the confidence and positive attitude that come with proven experience within the creative IT industry. You will be customer focused,with a passion for detail and comfortable working with LAMP environments.
The role also provides the opportunity to work with the wider team to help realise the agency's ambitions for growth:
Producing and maintaining a variety of web applications
Implementing, customising, and managing CMS/e-commerce sites as well as
bespoke applications
Developing mobile applications
Updating and enhancing current websites
Liaising with clients confidently to help solve their technical
queries/problems
Attending client meetings, taking briefs from clients, interpreting their
requirements and writing proposals, technical specifications and
wireframes
We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills:
Very strong working knowledge of:
- Object Orientated PHP5
- SQL (in particular MySQL)
Good working knowledge of:
- Magento
- XHTML
- CSS
- Javascript
A passion for web standards and cross browser compatibility.
Experience in DHTML and AJAX techniques
Good understanding of web accessibility and be able to demonstrate work that conforms to accessibility guidelines.
