JOB TITLE: Cycle Path Fundraiser
PAY: £8.50/hour, paid weekly
HOURS: Flexible, Part time, 12-28 hours/week

If you think cycling and walking is the best way to get around, you’ll be delighted to hear about this opportunity with Sustrans - the UK’s leading sustainable transport charity.

We’re responsible for the 14,700 mile long National Cycle Network, using spectacular old railway lines, green spaces and quiet roads. We campaign for safer streets, deliver Bikeability training in schools, and dozens of other practical solutions to the transport problems we all face.

We want to spread the word about the great work that we do to and generate support to help maintain our paths on the National Cycle Network. We need fundraisers to represent us on cycle paths around this area.

Successful applicants will be passionate about cycling and walking issues, strong communicators, and feel comfortable with recruiting new supporters via direct debits.

Knowledge of local cycling routes is an advantage, but working out on the paths is the surest way to quickly fill in gaps in your knowledge!

We’re one big family and we want new fundraisers to feel part of it straight away. Which is why we provide full training and on the job feedback as well as regular socials.

Working hours are part time and flexible, so the position may suit someone with another job or is looking to reduce their hours.

You must work between 3-7 shifts a week choosing from the following shifts:

Monday-Friday, 4pm-7pm.
Saturday-Sunday, 11am-3pm.
