Job Title: Lighting Wholesale Sales Engineer
Location: Romsey, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 per Annum + Commission and Benefits

Our client is a leading British designer and manufacturer of intelligent lighting solutions with a respected reputation worldwide. They are committed to UK manufacture with facilities based in Wales and Hampshire. They have won multiple industry awards including “LA Light Source of the Year” for two consecutive years; their success a result of a highly technical and dedicated team.
Due to their continued growth and expansion they are seeking an efficient Wholesale Sales Engineer to join their Wholesale division in South West England and South Wales.
Reporting to the Wholesale Manager, the successful applicant will work with the Wholesale team to promote and sell their LED range of products to the Wholesale network in the South West England area.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:
• Identifying relevant Electrical Wholesalers, presenting their products and securing stock orders.
• Supporting the stockists and clients to promote the brand and products.
• Recording data on the company tracking software.
• Managing enquiries into orders.
• Communicating their brand message face-to-face, by telephone or at trade-shows / exhibitions.
• Acting as a point of contract for customers.
• Following up business leads from trade-shows / exhibitions.
• Generating a pipeline of projects and managing them to the point of ordering.
• Working closely with the Internal Sales and Technical departments to ensure the smooth running of projects.
• Meeting revenue targets and attending quarterly sales meetings.
Required Skills:
• A proven track record of selling lighting to the Electrical Wholesale and Contracting industries.
• A dynamic and self-motivated attitude.
• The ability to manage your own schedule and meet challenging targets.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good customer facing and telephone communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• General lighting knowledge (led lighting knowledge would be advantageous).
Candidates must hold a full UK driving license.
Work Hours and Location:
Working Hours: 40 Hours a week (usually Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends).
Location: On the road with occasional office visits.
Salary: £30,000 per Annum plus uncapped commission, car allowance and benefits package.
