?Cover Supervisor jobs for Central London, particularly to be able to work in areas such as Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham. The role will require you to be available on short notice. As a cover supervisor you will be expected to supervise lessons (with no support) during the short term absence of teaching staff, overseeing the work set by the class teacher, supervising and supporting pupils. You will be expected to cover all classes and all subjects, specialism of these subjects are not necessary.

The School?
?Schools in the Central London vary, and offer cultural diversity. You can be expected to work in schools such as academies, enterprise colleges, faith schools etc.

The Child?
?It is important to identify the role the school plays in providing a safe learning environment and the opportunity to flourish not only academically but socially. This is emphasised with supply teachers encouraged to provide pastoral care and organise educational visits appropriate to their subject. You will encounter a diverse mix of pupils across our range of Schools. Good behaviour management skills, a passion for teaching and a dynamic and flexible approach will be advantageous for these positions.

The Job?
?several cover supervisors to work at a number of Schools across the Central London area. These roles are offered on an ad hoc day to day basis as required by our Schools.

Duties will include;
managing the classroom
going through pre-set work
taking the register
ensuring work is collected
leaving handover notes detailing any progress
