Salary Grade point 14 to point 17 (£15,725 to £16,830) Full time

HARP is a progressive independent Southend based charity that reduces homelessness by providing emergency housing and long term solutions. This enables people to rebuild their lives and live independently within the community.

This exciting opportunity is based in The Bradbury Centre, a busy and energetic environment. We require a highly dynamic individual to coordinate the Service Users journey through the centre providing a welcoming atmosphere and a customer focused approach.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Skill and confidence in customer care and the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders including service users, donators, professional agencies and members of the public.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to keep accurate records.
• Ability to work effectively and respond well under pressure. With the ability to face and deal with difficult situations and customers
• professional manner
• Have an empathy and understanding for homeless people, especially those who have complex needs
• Have the skills to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team, with the willingness to work unsociable hours, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
• A full UK driving licence.
