Experis are recruiting on behalf of their Client a leading Engineering Support Services organisation for an experienced Fleet/Transport professional to manage a team of Fleet Administrators in the delivery of a major UK outsourced fleet contract.

The main responsibilities of this role are as follows -

• People management - will be responsible for supervising a team of around 8 fleet contract administrators
• Assist the Fleet Manager in the achievement of monthly KPI performance and operational targets
• Ensure all contractual documents and asset databases are up to date and correct
• Maintain a productive and open environment within the Fleet team
• Manage contracts of supply from vehicle providers
• Communicate directly with end Customer on all fleet contract change requirements
• Support Fleet Manager in providing robust and effective level of customer service

The successful candidate will display the following Skills & Experience -

• Must have prior experience of supervising/managing staff
• Ideally have a background in Fleet Management, Transport Management or the Vehicle Hire or Leasing sector
• Effective communicator with excellent time management skills, must be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• Computer Literate - proficient in Microsoft Office applications with Excel to intermediate or advanced level, must also be able to pick up new systems quickly
• Prior experience in managing and negotiating with end customers and suppliers
• Must be able to satisfy UK SC level security clearance once in post
• Full UK Drivers Licence
