Design Manager

Green Recruitment Solutions are representing a rapidly growing principal (main) contractor, who are currently seeking competent, suitably qualified and enthusiastic people to support their expanding project workload in waste-to-energy (Anaerobic Digestion / Biogas / Biomass) construction projects. The Company designs, builds, commissions (EPC ‘turnkey’) projects and maintains ‘green’ energy (AD) plants across the UK and Ireland. They have the backing of an established international group of companies and are growing from strength to strength.

The position they are currently seeking to fill is Design Manager.

The ideal candidate will have:
A civil, structural or mechanical engineering bias
Experience of working for a Principal Contractor or construction company
Experience of delivering multi disciplinary projects consisting of civils, M&E and structures packages

The role involves;
Subcontract design packages and project manage the entire design process from outline through to detail design. This involves working through the specifications and details with the subcontractors, monitoring progress and delivering a complete design package for construction
