We have been asked by a high achieving Secondary school in Huddersfield for a teacher of Dance and Drama to begin work in their successful Performing Arts department from the beginning of the academic year. If you are a teacher of either Dance or Drama and are looking to work in a school with high levels of academia then we would be interested in speaking to you.
We are looking for a person who has a positive attitude to teaching, as well as a good grasp of the syllabus, to be considered for this role of Teacher of Dance and Drama you should also:
- Hold QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualifications
- Have a good knowledge of the current National Curriculum
- Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and always strive to get the best out of your students
- Be well organised
- Be adaptable to cope with any situation Committed to raising standards
The role itself is expected to start at the beginning of the academic year and is subject to an enhanced DBS Certificate being carried out, as well as satisfactory references being taken.
