About the role

Take this exciting role within our Information Technology group, and you will have the chance to use your exceptional technical skills to make a difference. Part of a pioneering IT function, you will be a key player in the design and delivery of a variety of strategic programmes and business critical initiatives.

We need you to manage all end to end' installations within the data centre space. You will provide technical assurance on data centre compatibility for medium and large-scale projects while providing first and second-level diagnostics and fixes for hardware failures. You will also undertake data centre physical performance testing and encourage sustainable design on projects and initiatives in the data centre space.

About the individual

Willing to train on Aperture, ITRACS, and DIRAK RACS, you will have a good understanding of network, storage, and computer hardware platforms as well as Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM). A logical thinker and fast learner with a can-do attitude, you will ideally bring knowledge of virtual infrastructures and ITIL. Above all, you will have a flexible approach with the ability to prioritise effectively.

Key skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of server installation
  • Proved experience of investigating technical issues
  • Knowledge critical data centre infrastructure including power and cooling would be desirable.
