Technical Consultant, Windows Servers, MS Exchange Server, Clevedon, North Somerset, GBP32,000 + Car or GBP5k Car Allowance.

Technical Consultants are experienced IT professionals with excellent enterprise infrastructure support experience and proven customer facing experience.

The successful individual will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and must be comfortable travelling to customer sites in the UK.

Key Skills:

Must be proficient in at least 75% of the following areas:

- 5+ years' enterprise wide IT technical experience.
- Windows Server 2008-2012 experience.
- MS Exchange 2007, 2010 or 2013.
- IBM Domino
- SQL Server or Oracle
- MS IIS
- HTML or other Scripting skills
- Disaster Recovery and failover procedures.
- Good demonstrable presentation skills.
- Good customer facing experience.

Nice to Have:

- Computer related degree or equivalent.
- Project Management qualification eg Prince2
- Ideally experience supporting external customers.

About the Role:

As our client's Technical Consultant ( Windows Servers, MS Exchange Servers, SQL Server or Oracle, MS IIS, Domino, Enterprise Support ) your responsibilities will include:

- Managing consultancy services.
- Involvement with in-house training courses.
- Attending customer pre-sales meetings and demonstrations.
- Implementing applications and providing support.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant systems and platforms.
