Affiliate Manager

Modis are currently searching for a driven and challenge-hungry Affiliate Manager to work for a rapidly expanding financial services company within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities include:
* Developing the affiliate marketing strategy to deliver sales acquisition/activation volumes at an agreed cost per application.
* Analysing campaign activity and develop a programme of offers to increase sales performance.
* Managing the relationships and negotiating contracts with top tier affiliates.
* Building a roadmap of innovative ideas to further develop the channel.
* Working with the Head of Online to develop the online marketing strategy and aligning affiliate activity with the company's marketing plan.
* Building the company's presence and be a champion for the company's brand in the affiliate industry.
* Managing affiliate network partners to ensure robust tracking and validation processes are in place to prevent fraud.
* Increasing application volumes through improved conversion rates to capitalise on increased opportunities as per agreed targets.
* Recruiting new affiliates to the company's programme to deliver incremental application volumes.
* Managing the affiliate budget, including commission, bonuses and offer spend.
* Forecasting application volumes and budget on a regular basis and working closely with finance to track monthly spend.
* Ensuring timely invoicing by agencies and affiliates.
* Responsible for improving the value of applications delivered via the affiliate channel, working closely with relevant internal teams to ensure supporting offers and commercial structures are available where needed.
* Managing, supporting and motivating the affiliate team by:
o Facilitating regular team and individual 1-2-1 meetings and effectively communicating with team members at all times.
o Ensuring that all junior affiliate team members are managed to mutually agreed objectives that support the business objectives.
o Ensuring all direct reports have development plans and there are opportunities to develop and build on their respective skills through a meaningful personal development plan.
* Ensuring there is a succession plan for each role in the team.

Experience required:
* Excellent understanding of the UK affiliate industry.
* Commercially astute, highly numerate, good at analysis and data driven.
* A great communicator, influencer and confident when presenting to senior management and external partners.
* Good understanding of affiliate network and tracking technology.
* Experienced in managing individual and team performance in a sales environment.
* Sales focused and goal orientated.
* Ability and experience in seeking out new sales opportunities and either driving change within the team or working across departments to exploit them.
* Team player.
* Customer focused.
* Excellent organizational and planning skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Ability to manage on high and complex workload and hit deadlines consistently.
* Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards change.
* Has a working knowledge of all MS Office packages.
* Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
