Job Description:

Purpose of your role

Administrative aspects of the Market Data Commercial function. This role provides a supporting function to the business in provisioning and administration of their market data service, and within the team, support for the Business Analyst team who own our client relationships. You will be responsible for first line support, dealing with queries via email, telephone and ticketing systems and assigning more complicated work to elsewhere in the team. As part of the whole team, and in this front facing role, you will also be responsible for identifying possible data control/misuse and highlighting this to our compliance team.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the market data inventory All MDSL (MDM) database maintenance product price updates, new products, allocations, cancellations, monthly HR file import, Joiners/Leavers/Moves/
Changes, Cost Centre and FX rate updates
Receiving, processing, tracking and delivering products/services
Administration of licenses, pools, spares, swaps etc inventories
Entitlements administration (DACS, Bloomberg, Indices etc), including any regular updates such as DACS maps and distribute
Regular (monthly) Standard' and custom financial reports (generally from MDSL) for use by BVM team with clients, and other reports (such as steering committee)
Usage reporting and cancellations
Vendor declarations (DAD, exchanges)
Own MDSL vendor relationship (with Business Analyst support where necessary)
Market Data (email) Inbox first line query response and resolution, allocating to appropriate BVM where necessary
Invoicing support (there is a separate invoice function): Reconciliation, tracking, downloads, queries, AP and vendor liaison as required.
Escalations to the business analysts Index provisioning - initially assistance of the analysts in dealing with our main index provider for fund launches both locally and globally, growing to cover contract work, assisting with compliance etc with experience.

Job Requirements:

Experience and Qualifications

Experience of Market Data Manager (from MDSL) in administering market data inventories, or other similar products
Good knowledge of market data products and services - Real Time, reference, research, ratings, index providers and products
Reasonable previous experience covering some of the Key Responsibilities listed previously
Good excel skills in being able to manipulate and analyse data, prepare reports based on the market data inventory
Asset management or index provider experience advantageous.
