My client is one of the best-known niche retailers in the UK and is looking for an Accounts Clerk to join their busy team.

Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts Clerk is required in order to be successful in this role. You will be required to process invoices and report into the Purchase Ledger Supervisor.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Clerk is as follows

- Receive and open post sort and distribute for coding, authorisation or processing.

- Register Invoices and send to the Property department for authorisation

- Key in Invoices onto database

- Run off daily reports

- Maintain clear audit trails on all transactions.

- Reconcile and keep supplier statements for shop costs and utilities, hotels and security and deal with queries for these suppliers.

- Deal with suppliers over the telephone and email

- Do weekly payment runs to ensure all accounts have been cleared

- Ensure all invoices that have been entered onto the system accurately
