Job Title: Executive Project Manager (Covering Maternity)

Location: Yeadon, Leeds, LS19

Salary: Up to £40,000pa dependent on level of experience

Position: Temporary, Maternity Cover

The company is the UK’s market-leading primary care software provider. They specialise in the supply of ICT infrastructure, application software and value-added services to healthcare, education and other public and private sector organisations.

Job Role:

The Executive Project Manager will be able to work independently with little or no supervision and able to manage strategically important projects as directed. This person must be exceptionally well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting a team of diverse people and programs. The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important. 

Key Responsibilities:

In line with the strategic objectives of the organisation:

  • Generation of monthly Executive Management Reports for the business, incorporating KPIs, narrative and success stories from across the business.
  • Programme and Project Management of wide improvement projects, often with the intention of setting up teams and processes to manage BAU.
  • Analysis and identification of business processes that can deliver the required outcome.
  • Business case creation and ROI identification.
  • Working closely with all departments to ensure that the company are delivering excellence.
  • Support short-term projects identified by the Managing Director and the EMIS Senior Management Team with Executive Authority to work across the business.

Key Skills and Experience:

All preferably within a commercial environment:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of business operations across the organisation both customer facing and back office.
  • Conduct research, assemble and analyse data to prepare reports and documents.
  • Ability to pull together virtual teams to solve strategically important issues.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Experience of successfully creating and/or modifying processes.
  • Able to review and summarise miscellaneous reports and documents.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
  • Experience of managing and contributing towards the business strategy.
