Retail Assistant / Trainee positions available. Our client is recruiting motivated and enthusiastic individuals in the local area. The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team, and also helpful, friendly and polite. You also need to reliable, honest and responsible.
Duties and responsibilities:
Serving and advising customers
Taking payment
Helping customers to find the goods they want
Advising on stock amounts
Giving information on products and prices
Stacking shelves or displaying goods in an attractive way
Arranging window displays
Promoting special offers or store cards
Ordering goods
Handling complaints or passing them on to a manager.
Experience is not essential as full training is provided however previous work in the following sectors and job roles may be an advantage: Retail, Sales, Shop Assistant, Receptionist, Customer Service, Warehouse, Marketing, Office Admin, Cafe, Bar, Hotel, Hospitality, Trainee Waiter, Waitress, Supermarket, Administration.
