StepChange Debt Charity is currently seeking Debt Advisors to join us in Leeds City Centre. Successful applicants will receive £19,469 per annum.

We’re currently recruiting for a team of Debt Advisors to provide debt advice and support to clients who have contacted us with a debt problem.

The Debt Advisor roles are based in our Advice Plus team in Leeds City Centre.

The successful Debt Advisors will demonstrate excellent communication skills, along with the ability to quickly analyse complex problems and recommend solutions. You must be able to empathise with clients whilst retaining an objective and realistic approach.  Good attention to detail is required as well as the ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.

Knowledge of money advice would be preferable but is not essential as we’ll give you full training.

The start date for this position will be Monday 20 October 2014.

Debt Advisors must be able to commit to a full time 6 week training course which runs Monday – Friday 9:30am to 4:30pm.
