Business Manager

We are looking for a motivated, determined and results driven individual to join our growing team at Car Shop Cardiff as a Business Manager.

We are looking for someone to deliver personal achievement of F&I income and associated product offerings as per the monthly budgeted and key performance indicators

Key responsibilities / Duties

- Monitor and control finance quotations

- Demonstrate how to complete final balance and refund receipting

- Demonstrate excellence at D&D, MBI and VAP presentations

- Obtain finance acceptance from lenders

- Revisit deals and add value by selling products at the back end

- Demonstrate an understanding of all finance house products and show how to maximise profit on all deals

- Demonstrate how to accurately complete administration processes including the order form, updating logs, registering sold products, processing off deals, obtaining settlement confirmation, recording and accounting for payments and preparing invoices

- Accurately complete front of deal file and demands and needs for every customer, ensuring compliance with FCA

- Demonstrate competence at proposing finance deals on Deal Trak

- Understand how final balances are calculated and ensure that they are collected in a timely manner

- Process settlements and cash back payments and ensure completed in a timely manner

- Monitor and review sold check report

- Establish and develop productive working relationships with internal and external customers

- Adopt a ‘can do’ approach to achieving goals and takes personal responsibility for action

Person Specification

- Previous experience in a fast paced, target driven environment

- Desirable to hold a full UK/EU Driving Licence

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office – all packages

- Previous experience / ability to use in-house systems

- An understanding into basic financial calculations / mathematical problem solving or relevant qualification in Maths

- An awareness in financial compliance

- Ability to communicate with a diverse work force

- Previous retail experience desirable
