We are looking for a trainee developer, in Oracle Business Applications, to join Management Information Service where you will help to support and enhance the reporting capabilities with the aim of delivering business improvement across the user community. The role will provide training and experience in a number of application technologies based around the Oracle product suite. The Trainee will work alongside experienced developers, functional consultants, business analysts, testers, trainers, and project managers on a diverse range of activities. The intention is to allow the graduate to become a self-sufficient developer through the practical application of the training provided and the chance to explore all aspects of the software development life cycle.
The successful applicant will initially join the Student System team where they will be able to apply a mixture of intelligence and data analysis skills to the resolution of real world business problems. They should demonstrate the willingness to tackle technically challenging tasks in a highly effective and professional manner often under tight deadlines. We want team-players with a keenness for learning and the commitment and enthusiasm to become successful developers and improve the software solutions we provide.
