Lead Aerospace Mechanical Technician

Facebook is looking for someone to lead the Airframe assembly efforts during the development phases of their high-altitude solar powered aircraft. A successful candidate will be able to lead all efforts around airframe assembly and integration.
Responsibilities
• Lead assembly efforts of all airframe components
• Lead the assembly and test efforts of propellers and control surfaces
• Train and lead efforts on the application of polymer wing covering
• Assist with the installation of solar cells
• Maintenance and overhaul of airframe post-flight.
• Maintain detailed build and test records
• Lead a team of technicians
Requirements
• Minimum HNC in Aerospace Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of Aeronautical industry experience
• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in airframe assembly/maintenance
• 7+ years experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Prior production experience with composites, aluminum materials and adhesives
• Experience leading teams and performing employee reviews
• Approved Apprenticeship for Aerospace manufacturing is preferred
